Roman Zeigler

Autaugaville School Principal

I have obtained five degrees which launched my career in education. I received an associates degree in Philosophy from Nassau Community College; a Bachelors, two Masters, and an Educational Specialist degree from Alabama State University. Post my academic matriculation, I have served in the field of education now for the past 22 years. Within my 22 year career of instructional service, I have been a classroom teacher, reading intervention teacher, and behavior interventionist for the first 18 years of my career within the Montgomery Public Schools System. I served as an assistant principal for three years within the Elmore County School system, and as the principal of Robert C. Hatch High School which is comprised of grades Pre-K-12th within the Perry County School system for two years. I have received numerous accolades and recognitions throughout my academic career for being an innovative teacher and instructional leader. Now, with all of that noted, all of my experiences have led to being your principal at Autaugaville School. I am excited about the great things that are on the horizon for Autaugaville School, not only because I am here,  but because we have the best faculty in place and we are ready to educate your children so they can SOAR like Eagles! To contact me, call (334) 365-8329 or email roman.zeigler@acboe.net.
